Here, astrologers tell us the most spontaneous zodiac signs, from the ones who rarely plan to the truly unscripted.

6 Libra
A Libra might not make spontaneous plans of their own, but they'll follow along on yours if you invite them.
"They are fun-loving and adventurous, which naturally translates to unplanned getaways," says Maria Hayes, an astrologer at Trusted Astrology. "If you're bored, Libras aren't just your usual 'one call away' friend, but also an instant getaway buddy."
It makes sense, given their eagerness to please and their fondness for exciting group outings. Text them if you need a weekend escape but have minimal time to plan.
5 Leo
Leo thrives in the spotlight. And in many cases, they have to embrace spontaneity to achieve it. That means that when they plan things on a whim, they'll bring their friends with them, too. After all, they need an audience.
"Ruled by the luminary Sun, Leos love creating memorable moments that will continue to be talked about for years to come," says Charlotte Kirsten, founder of the astrology blog Typically Topical. "Off-roading on a rugged track? Rocking up to someone else's house party? Trying out a new club in a faraway city? Bonafide Leo energy."
Representatives of this sign will even do something risky if it means capturing everyone's attention, Kirsten adds.

4 Gemini
Represented by the Twins, Gemini is often of two minds. As such, they can switch priorities at the snap of a finger, which makes them appear spontaneous to outsiders.
"They tend to take life easy and sincerely believe that there are many things around them that are worth trying," says Alice Alta, resident astrologer for the Futurio app. "So, they are ready to plunge into adventures and change their plans on a whim. But there is the flip side of the coin: This may make them waste their energy on nothing."
Consistency and planning are necessary for them to become their highest selves.
3 Aquarius
Aquarians hate routine and always want to spice things up. "For example, Aquarius can offer his significant other to go to Las Vegas to get married tomorrow; or they may enroll in cutting and sewing courses all of a sudden (though they have never shown interest in this before)," says Alta. "This is simply their attempt to brighten up their humdrum routine and make their lives more cheerful and eventful."

2 Aries
As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries is often pushy and impatient. Sometimes, that can lead them to make spontaneous decisions.
"The headstrong ram loves nothing more than being in charge of its own destiny, which comes as no surprise given they're ruled by Mars, the planet of risk, passion and, you guessed it, spontaneity," says Kirsten. "Not content with anyone else calling the shots, Aries is famous for making quick and impulsive decisions. Keen to follow their gut, Aries will always follow their instinct, and when that instinct tells them to throw the whole plan out the window and try something new, they leap."
1 Sagittarius
Sagittarians are known for their adventurous spirit and sense of wanderlust. But Kirsten notes that their spontaneous nature extends beyond that.
"Sagittarians live by the Latin motto 'carpe diem,' meaning to seize the day," she says. "Every day is a new chance to wipe the slate clean and start afresh, so you'll rarely ever find them being bogged down by the past or missed opportunities—namely because they've already taken them!"
By acting spontaneously, a Sag can fulfill their greatest hopes, dreams, and goals. Doing so also gives them an outlet to help regulate their emotions.
